I became a member of Women’s Fitness Adventures, as although I have always been active and played a team sport in the past, ” I needed a tribe”.
The catalyst for me to book was during a social walk that was organised by my local gym. It was there I met Helen a fellow gym-goer who was also a Women’s Fitness Adventures member. She encouraged me to book my first “Friday Funday”.
A particularly challenging hike for me was in Mt Barney National Park and I felt such a sense of achievement at the end which made me enthusiastic for more.
Earlier in my life I had played team sport and was missing the camaraderie and sense of being in a team environment.
Women’s Fitness Adventures has given me enjoyable company and taken me to some interesting destinations in a safe and well organised manner.
For now and for the future, I want to continue to be fit and active and this includes activities I can incorporate with travel which Women’s Fitness Adventures facilitates seamlessly.
To anyone thinking of joining, Women’s Fitness Adventures has lots of variety with very supportive leaders and members and heaps of fun to boot.
