Oh no she cried, what have I done?
As leaders we often ask members “what made you sign up for this Multi Day Adventure”?
One very honest response we heard was “Oh you know, it was early January and New Years Resolutions were fresh. The adventure popped up on the website so I pressed go. I then thought, oh help what have I done!!”
We hear comments with a similar thread from various members and with this in mind we developed the Multi Day Sampler to give women the chance to understand what is involved in a multi day adventure and see how their bodies handle hiking four days in a row as well as giving them information and helpful tips on various hiking related topics.
From this experience, together we can help them work out a plan moving forward to ensure they are adventure ready and to provide them with confidence in their ability to be able to successfully participate in a multi day adventure in the future.
P.S the member who made the “help what have I done comment” successfully completed our Bibbulmun track adventure after training with our C.R.E.W throughout the year and loved it so much that she booked a second multi day adventure while half way through the Bibbulmun Hike.
