As many of you know, last week I spent an exhilarating week hiking the Great Ocean Walk with 11 amazing ladies. It has been hard to pick a highlight, as how do you sum up an adventure so grand, so refreshing and so cleansing in a few words?
So I decided to share with you the 10 things I learnt on this trip. Some I already knew, but in my day to day life, they get pushed to the back of my mind and are easy to forget.
I hope you enjoy the read. Special thanks to my fellow hikers for the memory – I trust you will cherish this as much as I do. To Helen L and Helen D, Robyn, Marais, Cindy, Merlene, Thais, Hilkka, Barbara, Ingrid and Eva. Last but not least, thanks to Sam and Ha from Bothfeet EcoLodge.

4. Let go of the fear – it will steal your dreams and take your time
5. You are never too old or too young to learn from others
6. Women are so much stronger than they think!
7. You always need time to relax!
8. Don’t sweat the small stuff – it almost always never happens.
(And if it does, there is always Bothfeet Eco Lodge to take the stress away)
9. Fashion is not really that important!
10. It is the journey that changes you, not the destination!
