What sort of hikes?
At Women’s Fitness Adventures our Multi–Day hikes range from Introductory level long weekends through to week – long challenging adventure hikes, and a lot of options in between. We can help you choose a trek that is best suited to your level of fitness and then support you as you work towards achieving your goal.
How fit do I need to be..?.
The majority of our multi-day hikes require a Moderate fitness level where you can walk/hike distances of 10-15km each day and can manage the ups and downs of any hill components. Our online and in person programs are excellent training options to help improve your cardio, strength and endurance for multi day hiking.
How do I train for a multi day hike?
The prospect of training for a multi-day hike can be very daunting. We know you want to be as fit as possible so that you can really enjoy the adventure but you’re not sure what to do, and that’s where we can help.
Our Multi Day Hikes are all inclusive of a comprehensive Training Plan, specific to your adventure. This program is specifically designed for your adventure and is designed to get YOU Adventure Ready. The plan incorporates all the Functional Fitness, Cardio and Endurance training you’ll need to do.
And following the program is so easy. The program is set out month by month and then each month is broken down into weeks. Daily sessions make it even more manageable for busy women to achieve their training goals. What’s more, you can connect with your fellow adventurers for motivation, inspiration and friendship, way before the adventure begins.
