Welcome to Hiking
Welcome to Hiking is a series of 3 training sessions dedicated to the entry-level hiker. Consisting of:
1. Introduction to hills session.
2. Introduction to surfaces session.
3. Introduction to endurance session.
So if you are at the beginning of your hiking journey and not sure where to start, this is for you.
You will learn skills such as:
1. Correct walking techniques for both downhill and Uphill walking.
2. Hydration. Food and nutrition when hiking.
3. The Path to hiking fitness.
4. Planning your pathway to hiking.
The sessions are progressive – 2 1/2 to 3 hours in duration.
The dates are:
8am – Saturday 23rd January 2021
8am – Saturday 30th January 2021
8am – Saturday 6th February 2021
