FAQs

Do I need any special gear?
  • No, a pair of joggers or hiking boots, water bottle, hat, morning tea and sunscreen are all you need.
  • If you have a pair of shoes with grip (ie hiking boots/shoes or trail shoes) we recommend you wear these.
  What level of fitness do I need?
  • Saturday Hiking is suited to MODERATE fitness levels.
  • To participate we recommend that you are a regular walker.
  • Of course, there will be some hills so you need to be comfortable getting out of breath, however this will be at your pace.
  • You also need to be able to hike for 2.5 -3 hours, with breaks in between.
Can I come alone?
  • Of course! Many of our adventurers start out not knowing anyone. By the end of the session, you would think everyone has been friends for years

  • Your Women’s Fitness Adventures C.R.E.W Leader, fully trained in Remote Area First Aid
  • All National Park fees and permits (where applicable)
  • Emergency communications and group first aid kit
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • 1 x 2.5-3 hour hiking session

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Payment for Saturday Hiking is final once payment is made.
  • No refunds, credits or transfers will be given for this event.

Covid-19 Processes & Procedures

Women’s Fitness Adventures Operates under the Outdoor Recreation Activity Providers Covid Safe Industry Plan.  
  • To ensure we have a Covid-safe environment, the following procedures are in place:
  1. Social Distancing – All participants are required to be 1.5 metres apart at all times
  2. The principles of good hand hygiene, sneezing/coughing into your arm and the use and disposal of tissues is mandatory
  3. Wash hands or use sanitiser regularly
  4. No food or equipment to be shared.
  5. If you feel unwell DO NOT attend.
  6. If you have recently returned from travel and not isolated for 14 days, DO NOT attend
  7. If the leader at the start of the session,  deems that you are unwell enough to participate and you may jeopardise the health of others, you may be asked to leave.
