The Adventure Ready Hike Training Bundle has been designed specifically for you to give you additional opportunities to maximise your fitness for your upcoming Multi Day adventure.

This is in ADDITION to the Group Hike Training sessions currently available to you.

It’s FIVE sessions spread out over 6 weeks and works around the current Group Hike Training dates for your upcoming adventure.

We know from almost 7 years of experience hosting multi day adventures and training women, that if you commit to the training you will:

  • build camaraderie with your fellow adventurers
  • feel strong within your body
  • feel confident that you have put in the training so that your last day is as good as your first and every day in between
  • have physical confidence in your body
  • brush away feelings of self doubt and worry because you know that you have committed to and completed the training

There are 5 sessions in total all designed to:

  • boost your cardio
  • boost your endurance
  • focus on agility and strength
  • deliver skills and knowledge along the way.

Each session is 3-4 hours in duration and is designed as a BLOCK to maximise cardio, endurance and strength. NOTE individual sessions are not available because you will not achieve the desired result by attending random sessions.

The dates are:

7am – Saturday 20th February Mt Cootha

7am – Sunday 28th February Mt Cootha

7am – Sunday 14th March  Mt Cootha

7am – Sunday 21st March – Gold Coast

7am – Sunday 28th March – Mt Cootha

Do I need any special gear?
  • If you are booked on an adventure and have your gear ready, then we recommend that you hike in and with that gear, if you haven’t already. This relates particularly to footwear, your backpack and hydration options.
  • If you have a pair of shoes with grip (ie hiking boots/shoes or trail shoes) we recommend you wear these. If not, sandshoes will be fine and you can discuss options with your C.R.E.W Leader.
  • You will need in your backpack a snack, minimum 2 litres water, sunscreen, personal first aid. Depending on your adventure you may need to pack additional items and your leader will discuss this with you on the first day.
What level of fitness do I need?
  • This Adventure Ready Hiking bundle is designed specifically for the anyone undertaking either their first multi day adventure or at entry level who would like to build fitness, confidence and stamina so that your last day is as good as your first and every day in between.
Who will be there?
  • Your C.R.E.W. leader of course!  And other like minded women who are keen for adventure yet seek guidance around fitness, stamina, skills and trek confidence.
  • If you are booked on a Women’s Fitness Adventures trek, it is a great opportunity to meet your fellow adventurers and form new friendships, WAY before the adventure even starts.

  What if it is raining?
  • We will endeavour to conduct the sessions in all weather conditions. After all, we cannot alter the weather conditions when you are out on your multi day adventure.
  • Should there be a severe weather event and we need to cancel, we will advise by email and text the night before.
What are the dates?
  • All sessions start at 7am

What will we be doing?
  • These sessions are designed to BOOST your cardio, endurance and strength so ALL of the Brisbane sessions will be hiking different circuits at Mt Cootha.
  • You will be MOVING most of the time, with a short morning tea stop in between.
  • Time on your legs, getting out of breath and building body strength through hiking are our goals.
  • The Gold Coast session is a sand skills session and will involve sand dunes and soft sand walking.
  • Of course, along the way you will have the opportunity to engage with your C.R.E.W leader who will give you hints and tips and pointers for your upcoming adventure.


What’s included?

  • Your Women’s Fitness Adventures C.R.E.W Leader, fully trained in Remote Area First Aid
  • All National Park fees and permits (where applicable)
  • Emergency communications and group first aid kit
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • 5 x 3-4 hour sessions

Hygiene & Social Distancing

To ensure we have a Covid-safe environment, the following procedures are in place:
  1. Social Distancing – All participants are required to be 1.5 metres apart at all times
  2. The principles of good hand hygiene, sneezing/coughing into your arm and the use and disposal of tissues is mandatory
  3. No food or equipment to be shared.
  4. If you feel unwell DO NOT attend.
  5. If you have recently returned from travel and not isolated for 14 days, DO NOT attend
  6. If the leader at the start of the session,  deems that you are unwell enough to participate and you may jeopardise the health of others, you may be asked to leave.
  7. No refunds, credits or transfers will be available

Booking Terms and Conditions

  • This is sold as a bundle to maximise the outcomes for you. No single sessions are available.
  • The dates for this bundle are fixed and individual sessions are STRICTLY non-transferrable or interchangeable.
  • There are no refunds for cancellations made after booking under any circumstances.
  • Should this event have to be cancelled due to severe weather or an unforeseen event, including Government Advice, you will receive a credit to your account or a refund for the unused portion/s.
